extremeguns

Extremeguns is a first-person shooter that manages to bring to mind classics of the caliber of 'Quake,' 'Halflife: Deathmatch,' or 'Unreal Tournament'.

The premise in Extremeguns is very simple: you have to take down all the players who get in your way in a constant all-against-all mode. You'll have a huge array of weapons, all with a gorgeous design and so different that they completely change how you face the round based on which one you choose.

The controls in Extremeguns are just what you would expect: you move and aim using the two joysticks and have an option to jump, shoot with your main weapon, and shoot with your secondary weapon. Though the controls are really polished, it may take a minute to get used to the motion of the camera given the light input lag.

In each game you face five bots, each of them making use of a different build, and with such terrific artificial intelligence that it'll be truly easy to forget you're not playing against other humans.
